    Calling all recent college grads!! Looking for an exciting opportunity to start or continue a career in Aerospace Engineering working on advanced aircraft working design and modification program? Then a position with Lockheed Martin is the place to be.

    The position requires skills as an entry level Electronics/Electrical Design Engineer to use their technical expertise to design aircraft Electronic and Avionic systems and subsystems for installations. The candidate will have an understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of aircraft structure design. The position will be responsible for layout and detail design of aircraft wiring, System assemblies, layouts and detail drawings using 2D and 3D design tools, participating in trade studies, creating and maintaining interface control drawings, and coordination with Integrated Product Teams.

    The engineering candidate will be required to coordinate across many functional areas and LM Aero sites, including Quality Assurance, Planning, Functional Test, Structures and Systems Design groups, Safety, Materials and Processes and Flight Sciences.

    Chosen candidate will work closely with the production floor, support process improvements, incorporate best practices into daily operations, and coordinate lessons learned and corrective action.

    Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited university. Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Experience with designing electronic and associated subsystems for aircraft to include researching and developing system installations
    • Creating wiring diagrams and other electronic and electrical design related to aircraft avionics and electrical systems
    • Create Cable assembly drawings related to the system designs
