Position Description

You will serve as a F-35 LIGHTNING II JOINT PROGRAM OFFICE - LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will conduct Performance Based Assessments for the operation and maintenance of appropriate elements of the aircraft/modification programs.
• You will assist in the development and management of contract requirements (i.e. statements of work and contract data requirements) to support systems engineering/acquisition phases.
• You will participate in the Configuration Management Process by developing, reviewing and submitting all associated documentation in support of Engineering Change Proposals, Configuration Control Board (CCB) Presentations, and Technical Directives.
• You will evaluate the causes of support related problems, choose appropriate courses of action that balance the interests of the program mission and the stakeholders.
• You will establish a robust total cost of ownership effort and develop affordable readiness initiatives, where appropriate, to reduce life-cycle costs.
• You will participate in risk management processes and early identification of system integration risks.
