  • Responsibilities

    F-35 Modification Retrofit Project Management and Planning Associate is responsible for collaborating with multiple disciplines to plan, develop and execute modification/retrofit tasks associated with specific engineering changes for significant modification events. This position reports to the F-35 AV MRO&U Planning & Scheduling Manager. Seeking an entry level professional to perform analysis of Initial Retrofit Plans (IRP) and establish milestones to support modification/retrofit events. The successful candidate will work within the AV MRO&U Operations organization to accurately synergize critical planning and milestone information with multiple authors, schedulers and leaders to achieve program objectives. Tasks include, but not limited to: cradle to grave project management; development of briefings (contractor and/or service); conducting project reviews; assisting in requirements development; compiling, authoring and distributing several recurring AV MRO&U Operations reports and performance deliverables for consumption by various stakeholders within the F-35 Program. Will be responsible for providing reach-back technical support to field maintainers/mod teams during verification/proofing events of assigned projects.

  • Qualifications


    • 4 year degree in Project/Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Systems Engineering or comparable technical degree.
    • Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).


    • Project/program management work experience.
    • Aircraft aviation maintenance and/or logistics experience on military or commerical aircraft
    • Experience managing multiple projects using long range planning techniques.
    • Experience with F-35 IT systems and tools (PDM, ALIS, JTD, JDL, LDM, ATLAS)
