Position Description

You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Infrastructure Planning and Facilities Management Division EC52000 of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide support and back up to the facilities and space manager to ensure effective use of facilities and resources in relation to the organizational mission.
• You will be responsible for executing tasking as directed by lead or senior personnel in support of facility and maintenance programs.
• You will perform minor construction, maintenance, operations, and repair of facilities, buildings, and equipment.
• You will serve as a facilities project technical point of contact and provides ongoing, day-to-day facilities liaison support between NAWCWD and service providers.
• You will perform minor work such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, cement work, painting, flooring, framing, roofing, t-bar/ceiling grid, door, and window installation and repairs as well as troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
