Raytheon Global Business Services Contracts to Cash department is seeking a Finance Summer Intern. The Cash management department is very crucial in cycle of generating, collecting and application of cash for Raytheon Company.

Responsibilities:

• Customer contract terms and how they impact Invoicing/collections
• Understanding invoicing of various types of government, commercial, and foreign contracts
• Analysis of Invoicing/cash received in SAP and reconciliation of any variance with customer system (MOCAS)
• Communicate with other CTC functions and Program Office to resolve variance issues of unpaid items, cash on account and short pays
• Understand application of cash and effect on reporting within SAP, BW, and other available reporting functions
• Learn FAR regulations and apply to Government Financing
• Assist with audit support, Internal Controls execution related to Journal Entries/Reconciliation
• Perform account reconciliations and process correcting entries

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program(30+ credit hours) with an emphasis in finance, accounting or business related field. Please upload a copy of your most recent transcript.
• Experience in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS:

• 3.2 Cumulative GPA
• Previous internship or co-op experience in a related field
• Experience with current financial software tools and understanding of related applications.
• Experience with pivot tables, formulas and macro’s
