Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide legal advice on difficult and extremely complex problems; advise clients on matters, and cases brought by or against the Department of the Navy.
• You will present and summarize cases; draft and interpret laws and legislation; and evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation of matters and cases.
• You will prepare legal briefs and opinions for matters and cases or negotiate settlements in the appropriate forum.
• The incumbent will represent and advocate for the Department of the Navy and provide legal advice and counsel, in the form of oral advice and written opinions.
