If so, Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Operations Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) organization could be the perfect place for your next co-op! There are opportunities for 2018 Fall Co-op 6 month position that will run from July - January.

The EHSS Specialist will participate in a complex and exciting environment, learning many aspects of compliance and sustainability in a large manufacturing site and contributing to the development of creative and innovative solutions.

The organization is heavily aligned with Six Sigma principles; hence a key component of this internship will be the completion of a project leading to Six Sigma Specialist certification. Additionally, the co-op will work independently reviewing business systems and implementing new processes within production areas. The co-op will have broad-based exposure to various business areas including Performance Excellence, Finance, Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities and Communications.

U.S Citizenship status is required.

Do you have the following Basic Qualification?

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college/university program with an emphasis in Environmental, Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or other related field.

Do you have any of the following Desired Qualifications?

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better strongly desired
• Previous co-op experience
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Sharepoint, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
• Ability to work well both as part of a team or as an individual contributor
