Position Description

• Supports projects in all aspects of electrical and/or mechanical design, testing, fabrication, project management, documentation, and research for weapons fuzing, safe-arm, and initiation systems.
• Prepares test plans, test reports, project budgets, project and research proposals, and other documentation.
• Designs and fabricates prototypes and test hardware.
• Able to take on complex problems of moderate difficulty and interface with peers and SMEs to achieve project goals and overcome obstacles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Trains and oversees junior-level engineers in completing tasking.
• Good oral and written communication skills to support briefings to customers and sponsors.
• Coordinates with other technical competencies and program sponsors to execute programs and transition technology to the warfighter.
