    Raytheon IT Leadership Development Program (ITLDP) is looking for capable, self-confident individuals interested in a challenging and rewarding Information Technology Project Management internship opportunity. An internship with IT will allow for broad exposure to both senior leadership and enterprise-wide initiatives as well as learning and using Raytheon’s tools and resources.

    The Raytheon Information Technology Internship engages participants in a challenging 3-month assignment that is focused on developing technical skills, business acumen and leadership. The internship is designed to involve the participants in meaningful work that is directly connected to meeting business objectives.

    In this role, you will learn how to partner with leaders to execute critical IT processes that enable business success. You will learn how to work collaboratively with multiple IT functions and teams to provide high-impact IT solutions to their business partners. Members of the IT Internship Program will be coached on how to establish trusted relationships with their stakeholders through collaboration, effective communication and partnering skills.     REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION:

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and work independently
    • Junior/Senior pursuing a Bachelors or first year Masters with a degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or any of the Engineering disciplines (Industrial, Test, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
    • 3.0 Cumulative GPA or greater

    PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

    • Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
    • Knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions
    • Ability to analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement, and create specifications
    • Solid problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies
