System Security Engineering (also known as Information Assurance or Cybersecurity) is a booming field with exciting new developments. This role fills many responsibilities including security engineering for Aeronautics products and warfighter platforms, creating hardware, firmware, data, and software secure designs and implementation, plus assessing and mitigating system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle.

Includes validation and verification of system security requirements, system assessment and authorization planning, testing and liaison activities, and support for secure systems operations and maintenance.

DESIRED SKILLS: 

• Experience with security requirements allocation and requirement tracing techniques.
• Experience with the Systems Engineering lifecycle
• Experience in system security design or architecture.
• Experience with security requirements allocation or requirement tracing.
• Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) evidence gathering.
• DoD Anti-Tamper
• Security-related certification (Security +, CISSP, etc.)
• Excellent written communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or related technical field
• Multiple programming languages
• Experience in security requirements identification or verification
• Experience with system security techniques
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
