This role is for a IT Systems Administrator for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) at Fort Worth, Texas. The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for providing the overall on-site ALIS maintenance and support and serves as the point of contact for customer questions or concerns.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of the system
    • Hardware/system monitoring and performance tuning
    • System/software/user maintenance and maintaining system documentation
    • Setting up administrator and service accounts
    • Installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space
    • Interacting with users and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the ALIS product suite
    • Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with other administrative disciplines (security, database, network, and offboard mission Support)
    • Review processes/procedures, collect system operational data for analysis
  • Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be able to attain and maintain US DoD Secret security clearance.
    • Must be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
    • Systems & software engineering and/or system administration process background
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
    • System Administrator experience
    • Good Communication & Verbal skills
    • Self Starter & the ability to multitask
    • Willing to work off hours, to include 0300-1200, 0700-1600, 1000-1900, and/or 1500-2400 depending on operational needs

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    In addition to the basic requirements above, the successful candidate may have one or more of the following:

    • Current Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security certification
    • Knowledge of and/or experience with system administration, which may include:
    • Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Internet Protocol (IP) Switch Fabric architecture (e.g., Routing, Fail Over, etc.)
    • Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers (Win2012) and virtual machines
    • User Account Maintenance (Active Directory)
    • Hardware/System Monitoring of physical and virtual servers
    • Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
    • Applying operating system updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
    • Experience troubleshooting Web Applications
    • JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server Familiarity
    • Understanding of Network Open System Interconnection (OSI) Model Layers
    • Knowledge of Networked Attached Storage (NAS) systems and supported protocols
    • Knowledge of and/or experience with fighter aircraft maintenance
