Position Description

You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/PHYSCIST in the WEAPONS SYSTEMS AND PROJECT ENGINEERING DIVISION, WEAPONS AND ENERGETICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will conduct Government technical investigations to establish path forward in resolving Warhead production issues.
• You will participate in contractor investigations and corrective action/process improvement activities.
• You will review contractor proposed variances, support risk assessments and provide technical rational for the acceptance/rejection of such variances.
• You will research, recommend, and support potential warhead modernization efforts
