  • Responsibilities

    Position Description

    Works either independently or with a team to provide support to develop, maintain, and test RF equipment for the Tomahawk Program. Services include writing requirements specifications, designing, evaluating, documenting the RF system, supporting test plan generation, and troubleshooting. Knowledgeable in developing mathematical algorithms, improving radar efficiency, and fixing technical bugs supporting the Tomahawk Program mission and objectives.

    Major responsibilities include:

    • System design and integration
    • System verification test definition, planning, and execution
    • RF model generation and verification
    • Waveform generation and analysis
    • Drafting system-level documents and reports
    • Identifying, addressing, and monitoring the status of RF system issues
    • Understand project goals and align RF system design to address future needs
    • Ensuring RF test equipment is calibrated to industry standards
    • Conducting laboratory tests on RF equipment
    • Authoring various engineering documentation and point papers (as required)

    Able to operate or utilize with guidance:

    • RF laboratory equipment (e.g., Oscilloscopes, Waveform Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.)
    • System performance characterization
    • Radar systems
    • Threat analysis
