  • Responsibilities

    Provides electronic intelligence (ELINT) data to HARM and AARGM to track and locate signals of interest.

    User Data File (UDF) engineer duties include:

    • Oversees the release of UDFs for fleet and testing purposes
    • Interfaces with internal and external teams to ensure mission planning, schema, and algorithms are suitable and valid UDF implementations
    • Gathers UDF requirements from TPO, contractor, and other government stakeholders.
    • Verifies UDF requirements in the AARGM-ER Requirements Verification Matrix (RVM) are tested for and met during ER test events.
    • Develops plans to address/improve processes with IPT leadership.
    • Documents process deficiencies with recommended improvements.
    • Writes technical reports, ICDs, SOPs, presentations, and other forms of documentation.
    • Mission plans for verification of UDF compatibility with JMPS and file creation for chamber testing
    • Coordinates international UDF work
    • Investigate solutions to improve missile performance
