Position Description

You will serve as an INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the COMMMANDING OFFICER MRO LOGISITCS of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will monitor work in process to determine that materials are on hand to sustain production schedules and also determine the need for process or material changes when deficiencies are revealed.
• You will perform a variety of continuing inventory management tasks requiring analytical, judgement, procedural, and technical skills.
• You will perform independent verification that all materials ordered were received and utilized at the completion of work/project for compliance.
• You will perform Causative Research/ in-depth investigations of specific physical inventory discrepancies/adjustments to determine why they occurred and the corrective action to prevent future discrepancies.
• You will coordinate with management, budget, procurement, and engineering personnel on actions that affect workload production.
