Position Description
The Computer Center Manager is responsible for managing the maintenance, configuration, availability and accessibility of the D433000 computer systems and applications. Additionally, the CC Manager will function as a SME for project teams in the initiation and planning phases of associated projects and project management. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research and development (R&D) within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and coordination of operations staff in executing, testing, and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on managing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by coordinating operation’s activities within the project life cycle.

- Maintain the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, and practices.
- Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with WGM(s) and Project Lead(s).
- Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
- Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, cybersecurity, and control structures.
- Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; and anticipating requirements.
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action(s).
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.

Additional Cybersecurity Duties:
- Develop and maintain a system-level cybersecurity program that includes cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives and policies and cybersecurity processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a repository for all system-level cybersecurity-related documentation.
- Monitor compliance with cybersecurity policy and review the results of such monitoring.
- Ensure that cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations.
- Ensure implementation of IS security measures and procedures, including reporting incidents to through appropriate reporting chains and coordinating system-level responses to unauthorized disclosures in accordance applicable policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the handling of possible or actual data spills of classified information is conducted in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Act as the cybersecurity technical subject matter expert for Logistics & Maintenance Information Systems & Technology Division and AWIS computer systems and applications.
- Ensure that cybersecurity-related events or configuration changes that may impact DoD IS authorization or security posture are formally reported to the affected parties.
Responsibilities:
- You will identify requirements, establish and implement required policies/procedures and manage engineering logistics, operational, maintenance, test, and support for weapon systems/equipment.
- You will review and provide inputs to drawings, specifications, test plans, procedures, waivers, and other documentation.
- You will apply configuration management techniques (identification, control, and accounting) in accordance with DoD standards as appropriate to the program or as directed by the program manager.
- You will plan, design, write, edit, maintain, revise, coordinate, and/or direct the preparation of documentation of presentation elements, such as reports, printed or visual media, requirements, and statements of work.
