DESCRIPTION: The candidate will apply National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) policies and procedures and interpret how they impact classified material handling requirements. The candidate will provide general Document Control functions such as material registration, visitor control, maintaining an accountability system for multiple programs and classified destruction requirements. Candidate will ensure compliance with all government requirements for domestic and international classified shipments. Candidate will track, manage, and review contract classification guidance requirements as required in DD Form 254 and Security Classification Guides. Candidate will demonstrate good oral and written communication skills and will brief personnel with clarity and answer subsequent questions. Candidate will fully utilize Microsoft Office suite and other internal security databases/software packages. Candidate will function independently, as well as, in groups and will prioritize their tasks with minimal supervision. Candidate will ensure security requirements are adhered to as stipulated by government and multiple program/user agency security guidelines and directives and the candidate will assist with multiple Self-Inspections and Review Team efforts. Candidate will investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Candidate will interface with internal/external customers, demonstrating customer loyalty, trust and partnerships. Function on internal committees as directed by supervision. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be a U.S. citizen - This position is located in a facility that requires special access. DESIRED SKILLS: Experience with Microsoft Office Applications. Customer service skills. Fundamental knowledge of the NISPOM. Prior experience dealing with SIMS, JPAS, ISFD, and SESIDS. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
