    Position Description

    The incumbent will perform studies and analyses of administrative/management issues. Incumbent should be able to exercise analytic ability combined with a knowledge of the functions, processes and principles of management. Responsibilities often require the utilization and integration of skills in study organization, modeling, interviewing, research, statistical analysis and writing. The successful applicant will be able to analyze problems to identify significant factors, develop a plan of action, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions. S/he should be able to develop and test hypotheses, utilizing the appropriate tools/tests (e.g., spreadsheets, surveys, focus groups, statistics, research, etc.), then document, validate, and report findings to higher level authority and serve as advisor or consultant to senior management. Position required the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; develop accurate, well-organized presentations and written reports; and be able to explain process, key points, and conclusions with the right amount of information for the audience.

    Incumbent will be required to work independently as well as part of a team. The ability to work with and gather data from employees at all levels and from diverse backgrounds is a requirement. This position supports Headquarters and Business Unit by participating in study teams concerned with organizational analysis, assignment and implementation of functions, capital investments, cost reductions, and effective management. Position requires an understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
