    RAYTHEON'S OPERATIONS TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (OTDP) is designed to attract, develop and retain high potential, early career talent for impactful individual contributor roles and leadership positions with Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems. Program participants rotate through a variety of operations functions while gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology, world-class products, and advanced manufacturing capabilities. Members of the OTDP also work with executive leadership within the Company to develop the skills and qualities necessary to grow the Company’s future.

    During this TWO YEAR PROGRAM, participants will have three diverse assignments, each lasting eight months, spanning the disciplines within IDS Operations including but not limited to: Manufacturing, Innovation and Modernization, Engineering and Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities, Integrated Supply Chain, Finance and Program Management. Participants are engaged in a wide range of learning experiences including mentoring, live and self-paced learning, skills assessments, career planning, networking, and exposure to Raytheon-wide facilities and practices.

    The position functions within an integrated organization across the product life cycle and multiple technology domains. IDS Operations is responsible for the work product quality and execution in collaboration with the Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain and Quality organizations. Individual development plans are linked to Raytheon's leadership competencies, with the goal of developing Raytheon's operations leaders of tomorrow.

  • Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Masters degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Facilities/Construction Engineering or related degree.
    • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this positions will need a U.S. Security clearance within 1 year of start date.
    • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a master's degree program or have graduated within the last 18 months.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • GPA of 3.2 and above strongly desired
    • International studies and/or experience
    • Project, co-op, or internship work experience
    • Experience in a leadership role, on the job, or as a part of a team or organization
    • Strong leadership and team building skills
    • Ability to demonstrate project management skills
    • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills
    • Must have strong presentation skills: written and oral
    • Experience with MS office applications and computerized tools/databases
    • Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks with minimal follow-up/supervision
    • Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
