Position Description

You will serve as a Procurement Analyst in the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will actively participate in the acquisition planning process.
• You will advise technical and contracts personnel on market research processes to include Sources Sought Announcements and Industry Days.
• You will assist the NAWCTSD Small Business Deputy in maintaining surveillance monthly of the procurement activity’s progress in accomplishing assigned Small Business program targets.
• You will assist in conducting periodic reviews of NAWCTSD’s contracts to confirm that applicable laws and regulations are properly implemented and that the objectives of the SB Program are met.
• You will actively participate, sometimes in a public speaking capacity, in government/industry conferences.
