The PPLD Intern reports to the PMX Director of Program/Project Leadership Development and will assist in the Program Management Professional certification process for RMS including, but not limited to, creating and hosting certification workshops, initiating process improvements, and preparing for and attending PM certification boards. The Intern will also assist with preparation and delivery of PM and Team of Five Forums. Additionally, the intern will assist with preparing strategic communications for the PM community.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain relationships across the RMS functional and PM communities, including RMS program directors and program managers to deploy innovative processes, training and management techniques across RMS programs
• Collaborate with Global Talent Development, HR and OE and the PMX organizations in other Raytheon businesses to ensure alignment of approach and identify opportunities for greater collaboration and information sharing

• Solid writing and presentation skills
• Ability to quickly assimilate information and develop strategies and action plans to improve a situation Business, Human Resources, or Communications major
• Curiosity about large organization function and broad reaching change initiatives

Education:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a degree in one of the following disciplines: Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.
• GPA requirement – 3.0 cumulative/overall or higher (on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent on other scales)
