DESCRIPTION: 

This position is for a College Student Technical Intern on the F-22 IFG Depot Partnering Team. The selected candidate for this position will focus on learning and assisting in product support and sustainment activation planning, from implementation through sustainment. The selected person will assist the project lead and teams consisting of technical experts in both industry and government to define and implement sustainment activation requirements for F-22 workloads within a contractor lead environment with an emphasis on partnering industry and government sources of support. The ideal candidate will have education and/or practical experience associated with gap analysis, equipment requirements, technical data requirements, costs and schedule development. Studies in Aeronautical, Operations, or Facilities Engineering preferred. An understanding of product life cycles, and sustainment operations, is a plus.

Assists in Identifying customer's system needs and aides in responses to requests for information; participates in feasibility and performance studies, including benchmarking, capacity planning, and aide’s development of appropriate transition plans to meet customer needs. Assists team in installation planning, prepares and presents technical product information to stakeholders.

Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels to achieve program success. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be a self- starter. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain special access program clearances.

DESIRED SKILLS: 

• Proficient with MS Office. Technical paper writing. Experience with MS-Access databases.
• Studies in engineering related field.
• Knowledge/Understanding of Project Management concepts and practices.
• Studies/Experience in SQL and Pivot tables.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in systems engineering or another related technical field.
