    Raytheon's Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) provides a state-of-the-art air traffic control system for managing terminal area airspace for both the FAA and Department of Defense (DoD). The STARS Program is looking for a Proposal Coordinator Intern to support a variety of tasks in relation to proposal development, proposal production, and database administration. This position will work with the Program Management Office (PMO) personnel on the existing STARS/TAMR Program in their day to day management of contract change proposals.

    The Coordinator works with the change manager, proposal manager and proposal team to support proposal kick-offs, proposal reviews and other meetings as assigned, tracks proposal progress, and ensures proposal deliverables comply with all proposal preparation instructions as specified in the Request For Proposal (RFP). The Coordinator supports deadlines for proposal production, including desktop publishing, graphics, and printing.

    Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate include working in conjunction with the Proposal team:

    • Performs proposal RFP requirements review in support of proposal manager’s outline and compliance matrix.
    • Attends and contributes to proposal meetings; provides in-room support when needed.
    • Ensures all proposal-related materials and deliverables follow all proposal preparation requirements.
    • Ensures all required proposal artifacts are uploaded and maintained in the STARS PMO eRoom.
    • Works with Proposal Lead to develop proposal schedule for required inputs from support functions that includes internal review steps prior to final production of proposal.
    • Assists proposal team and support functions in entering and formatting BOE estimates and documentation.
    • Coordinates final production of all proposal deliverables, including assembly, book checks, and management review prior to delivery to customer.
    • Ensures format standards/templates comply with Raytheon standards.
    • Develop and maintain proposal database to track receipt of RFP, proposal due date, proposed value, award date, and award value.
    • Support status meetings internally and externally with the STARS FAA/DoD customers.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Capture and Proposal managers.

    • This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements.
