    As a defense contractor, there are specific programs requiring a certain level of security clearance and special access for assigned staff. The selected candidate will be required to secure these accesses. Not being able to secure the INTERIM SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE needed for this position may result in an offer of employment being rescinded.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Quality Assurance Engineer will provide support to the F/A-18 Radar programs Mission Assurance Managers. This support will include support of Corrective Action Board analysis activities, various program analysis including trending defect analysis, various audit activities, Request for Root Cause and Corrective Action activities (RCCA), support of Failure Review Board, Yield improvement teams, Change Control Board, and various Program review team meetings. This individual will also be responsible for generating corrective action requests, charts and graphs representing completion of evaluations/audits, findings and observations. In addition, this individual will assist the F/A-18 Mission Assurance program teams in other assigned duties, including data review and analysis, charting, reporting, etc.

    U.S. CITIZENSHIP STATUS IS REQUIRED AS THIS POSITION WILL NEED A U.S. SECURITY CLEARANCE WITHIN 1 YEAR OF START DATE.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • 0-2 years in Quality, manufacturing engineering, or engineering work experience.
    • Experience communication progress and results to teams.
    • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
    • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Familiarity with airborne radar systems.
    • Working knowledge of Failure Review Analysis Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS).
    • Ability to function effectively in a change-oriented environment.
    • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

    REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR): Must have a BS / BA with a major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Quality, or other related field by Summer 2019 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
