DESCRIPTION:
The intern will work with Quality Engineers and perform statistical analysis to determine the source and products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Complete process capability and performance analysis to identify potential sources of variation. Identify, develop and initiate process improvements to reduce process variation and increase process stability. Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes. May specialize in the areas of design, product evaluation and reliability, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality and may be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
