    JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is for a sourcing professional in the SAS Supply Chain Proposal Excellence function. This position is primarily responsible for sourcing and acquiring quotes in support of DoD & Government Contracts. Overall responsibility for supplier management. Specific duties include: RFQ generation, Quote / Proposal Analysis, Negotiations, Documentation, supplier follow-up. Work extensively with SAS Product Teams including, but not limited to, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Program personnel along with other key functional groups to ensure on-time delivery of compliant quotes at or below program budget.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Strong written and verbal skills must be able to multi-task.
    • Must possess strong analytical and teaming skills.
    • Experience with MS Office, (Strong in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
    • U.S. Citizenship is required

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Material procurement experience to understand the production and procurement of material and equipment in a manufacturing environment (defense industry preferred).
    • Experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement or related industry.
    • Experience with Government procurement/material acquisition
    • Experience with Six Sigma and productivity improvement
    • Experience with SAP, PRISM and RIMQS
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

    REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR): Must have a BS / BA with a major in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or other related field by Summer 2018 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
