  • Responsibilities

    This position is for an entry level software developer with the Integrated Fighter Group’s Ground System Software (GSS) IPT, responsible for development and maintenance of the F-22 Integrated Maintenance Information System and F-16 Mission Planning System products.

    The selected candidate will be assigned to an AGILE team where they will immediately be given assignments which contribute to the development and deployment of these new capabilities.

    They will participate in all phases of the System Software lifecycle from supporting initial System Design concepts, software requirements development, design, implementation, integration and test.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering or Science related discipline.
    • Knowledge in programming software languages such as C, C++, Java, or a related language
    • Knowledge with object oriented architectures and design (OOA, OOD, or OOA/D)
    • Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a clearance.

    Desired skills

    • JAVA, C, C++, C#, SQL; OS background to include Linux, Windows
    • Object Oriented Methodologies and UML Modeling Techniques.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
    • Fundamental knowledge of program planning principles.
    • Hardware/software integration.
