RAYTHEON INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION AND SERVICES is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support a NASA's EOSDIS Evolution and Development 2 (EED-2) program, which involves the maintenance and evolution of the EOSDIS ECS, CMR, Earthdata, and NGAP systems, key components of NASA's Earth Science mission. These systems run on a Linux platform and are implemented largely in Java, Ruby and C++.The ideal candidate will be a highly enthusiastic team member excited about learning new technologies and continually evolving an operational system.
In this position, which is located in Riverdale, MD, the intern will have the opportunity to have hands-on development of new system capabilities supporting climate research.
This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements.
