Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician in the Threat Target Systems Department, Airborne Threat Simulation Division of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide direction to Aero/Mechanical Engineers, Electronic Engineers, Quality Assurance, Program Planners, Drawing and Electronic Technicians and contractor employees.
• You will manage design projects following a System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, supporting DoD weapon system Test and Evaluation programs and Fleet training operational support.
• You will manage program planners, acquisition cycles, Infrastructure Work Centers.
• You will establish, maintain, mentor, and lead the necessary teams to execute the programs to meet the developmental and operational support schedules.
• You will perform work related to program management, ERP processes, design engineering, Navy acquisition policy and procedures, budgeting, funds management, planning, and scheduling.
