Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist in the Multi-Spectral Defensive Electromagnetic Warfare System Support Activity NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as the senior systems acquisition management leader for the MDEWSSA within the Air Wing Integration and Interoperability and Electronic Warfare Effects (AWII/EWE) Product Linets.
• You will ensure continuity of technical leadership needed to meet program office requirements.
• You will provide direction and oversight for MDEWSSA product managers.
• You will serve as the IPT’s primary programmatic interface with NAWCWD, PEOs/PMAs, NAVAIR, and other NAWCs/SYSCOMs, Navy and DoD organizations.
• You will provide IPT demand signal and priorities to NAWCWD’s discipline-level technical capability (a combination of workforce talent, specialized facilities and infrastructure, as well as unique tools and techniques) across multiple Groups.
