    Exciting opportunity to work on the Laboratory and Technical Services (L&TS) System Engineering team. The highly innovative Labs & Technical Services organization is responsible for developing and maintaining manned aircraft weapon simulation systems utilized for weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Within L&TS resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues.

    • This is a position for an entry level System Engineer that will be performing system requirements analysis and development, system design, and verification and validation on a large laboratory simulation systems.
    • Responsibilities will be focused on ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of lab customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
    • Additional responsibilities may include performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and system requirements verification and validation of system performance.

  • Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree.
    • Must be a US Citizen. This position will require government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

    Desired Skills

    • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.
    • Experience in SysML.

    This position may require unique program security clearances that will be initiated upon selection and acceptance in filling this position. Final approval of these security clearances is dependent upon the Department of Defense (DoD) and could take an extensive amount of time to be granted. During this waiting period, the work assignments directly related to this position will be limited. Therefore, auxiliary organization work assignments will be provided.
