  • Responsibilities

    As a member of the C-130J Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Department, the Maintainability/Diagnostics Health Management Group develops products related to the maintenance of the C-130, C-5, and P-3 aircraft.

    The selected candidate will support development of the C-130J Maintenance Management Systems (MMS), Data Transfer and Diagnostic System (DTADS), development/revision of detailed aircraft system fault isolation data for the C-130J/C-5 aircraft, and development/revision of detailed scheduled maintenance plans for the C-130/C-5/P-3 aircraft.

    The position will demonstrate the ability to learn and apply basic Systems Engineering practices to assigned tasks learning the process of translating customer specific requirements into effective maintenance strategies. Assigned tasks will include: following established processes and procedures, maintaining configuration control of products, and supporting product delivery within schedule and budget constraints. The position will function as part of a team that involves performing required system testing (lab and/or aircraft environment).

    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Addressing customer questions
    • Developing inputs for new capabilities
    • Supporting inputs to proposals and quotes

    Overtime may be required to meet scheduled deliveries while requiring minimal direction in accomplishing assigned tasks.

    This position may require occasional travel to supplier and customer facilities.

    • Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or related technical degree
    • Must be a U.S. citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and be able to excel in a team environment
