Raytheon Intelligence, Information, and Services provides a full range of training, space, logistics and engineering solutions, cyber security products and services for government and civilian customers. Raytheon IIS is seeking a Software Engineering Intern. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Working in a team environment to design, code, test, document and deliver new/modified functionality
• Coordinating with developers, testers, configuration management and system engineering to ensure successful integration with other software components.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of SW development life cycle and processes
• Knowledge of modified condition/decision coverage unit testing
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with other software engineers and systems engineers
• Excellent communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation
• Some experience with C and/or Java programming
• US citizen

Desired Skills:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Working knowledge of agile scrum
• Experience with Windows and Linux software development
• Experience with C++, JavaScript, HTML 5, and Perl scripting
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink
• Experience with eggPlant, VectorCAST, JUnit, and Jtest
• Experience with VxWorks and Wind River Workbench
• Familiar with ClearCase, ClearQuest, Eclipse, and Rhapsody

Required Education:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or Mathematics

Required Education (including Major):

• Must have obtained Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status as of Summer 2018
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired. (Please include your transcript with your resume)
