    The Raytheon Missile Systems Systems Test Directorate vision is to be a world class leader in driving Test Affordability through the systematic application of Systems Engineering principles while ensuring an Operationally Relevant Product is delivered to the War Fighter.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The successful candidate will support projects in the Systems Test Directorate as related to Advanced Test Systems, Test Environment Design and Development, or Prime Item Integration and Verification. Work will be guided in a collaborative team environment to meet customer cost, schedule, and technical requirements while also developing the candidate’s experience with Raytheon’s industry leading processes, tools, and technologies.

    Opportunities include but are not limited to:

    • Working with state-of-the-art and emerging technologies.
    • Supporting live-fire testing of our products.
    • Hands-on integration and testing of RMS products.
    • Working with customers in a teaming environment.
    • Domestic and international travel.
    • Innovative rapid prototyping.
    • Designing and developing software for simulation and test environments.
    • Designing and developing methods and environments to effectively test missile components and assemblies.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • U.S. Citizenship is required
    • Must be a US Citizen as a government issued security clearance is required
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and be proactive
    • Strong interpersonal & communication skills (verbal/written)
    • Experience with technical projects in either the classroom or other work related activities

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Experience with MATLAB, C++, Circuit analysis tools, and other technical analysis or development tools
    • Familiarity with laboratory test equipment
    • Ability to develop and deliver basic requirements and/or test procedures

    REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR):

    Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Cumulative GPA of 3.00 is desired

    This is a 10-12 week opportunity for Summer 2019. Selected candidate must be available to work 40 hours/week during the Summer

    Clearance:

    This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.
