Great opportunity for current seniors in college or recent college graduates.

The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that focuses on product producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically.

Raytheon has openings in multiple areas:

    • Space Common Electronics – Design, develop, and manufacture complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications. Activities include detailed digital design with embedded real-time processors and FPGA components, circuit analysis/simulation, design documentation, construction of breadboards, design verification/ testing, and integration of hardware and software at the level of electronic components and circuit boards.

    • EO Space &Power Products – Design, develop, and manufacture complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications. Activities include circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation, construction of breadboards, design verification/testing, and integration of hardware and software at circuit board and/or System levels.

    • Special Test Equipment (STE) – Design, develop, and integrate the STE with the Prime Hardware for SAS. Analyze Hardware/Software test requirements/specifications to determine Hardware and Software requirements. Potential areas of focus are: Digital Module test, and/or RF Unit Test Systems, oversee the manufacturing of the STE and its checkout and integration, analyze and test digital circuits associated with unit and system level applications. Ability to get a secret clearance is required and a condition of employment.

    • Antenna Products (AP) –Design, develop, and deploy Radio Frequency (RF) passive circuits (radiators, RF manifolds, RF transitions, etc.) and electromagnetic (EM) modeling. AP is responsible for full-scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for antenna products, including architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions.

    • Antenna Products (AP) – Design, develop, and manufacture complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications. Activities include detailed RF, analog, and power conversion design with power, RF, and embedded systems, circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation, construction of breadboards, design verification and testing, and integration of hardware and software at the level of electronic components and circuit boards.

    • Transmitter, Receiver, EXciter (TREX) – Design, develop, manufacture and/or sustain complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and/or land-based military applications. Activities may include: detailed RF/Analog/Digital design, component obsolescence trades and resolution updates, production support, supplier collaboration to resolve hardware non-conformances and/or product sustainment, circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification. Integration and test of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules at the TREX and Radar levels may also be required. You will test and troubleshoot several types of digital Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) in a Depot environment, and develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements.
