An excellent opportunity exists for a current senior in college or recent college graduate within the Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS) Contracts to Cash department as a Financial Analyst I. GBS Contracts to Cash department seeks to maximize cash performance from point of contract award through final invoicing. This position is the point of entry into the financial system which allows for bookings, invoicing and customer deliveries.

This position within the Contracts to Cash department is crucial in the cycle of generating cash for Raytheon Company.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED - This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Accurate and timely preparation of complex customer invoicing of Government, Commercial and Foreign contracts.
• Interface with both internal and external customers including Contracts and Financial program personnel as well as various customer agencies.
• Provide accurate unbilled analysis of assigned contracts.
• Review new contract input and modifications for accurate billing information.
• Analysis of cost incurred and reconciliation of any variances.
• Work with Program Office to resolve issues such as: period of performance, cost in excess, billing codes, etc.
• Meet with Contract Setup and Contracts to resolve funding issues.
• Work with Accounts Receivable to resolve over/underpayments and liquidation variances.
• Understand FAR regulations as they apply to Government Financing.
• Participate in Six Sigma Specialist Projects to effect process improvement.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Working knowledge of Accounting principles.
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to work effectively within a teaming environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus.
• Strong Excel and financial system skills.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 3.0 GPA and above
• Relevant internship or co-op experience
• Knowledge of SAP financial processes and reporting tools.
• Demonstrated tendency to take ownership of role and responsibilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar discipline from an accredited College or University by Summer of 2018 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
