JOB DESCRIPTION:

The SAS Rates organization has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to join their team in McKinney, TX. The role offers a great opportunity to gain valuable SAS level experience and insight into how strategic management decisions impact the bottom line performance of the company. The organization regularly interacts with FP&A, Cost Accounting, Government Accounting, and Corporate.

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning and establishment of calendar overhead plans for base and expense
• Review and analysis of actual expenses vs plan
• Analysis of mission area element of cost forecasts for labor, material, and other pool base, and determination of corrective actions and most probable forecasts.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Independent, self-motivated and highly organized
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to access to US only data
• U.S. Citizenship is required

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Conceptual understanding of rate development and the burdening process
• SAP Experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Must have a BS / BA from an ABET accredited university with a major in Finance, Business Administration, or other related field by Summer 2018 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
