    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Raytheon is seeking a detail oriented, thorough, organized and capable new graduate to join our team as an FPA product test engineer. The successful candidate will possess an interest in the application of FPA technology to fields including astronomy, earth imaging satellite applications, man portable applications, and infrared countermeasures. The individual will be responsible for performing and developing tests on focal plane array products at various levels of assembly, and contributing solutions to technical problems arising in the test of focal plane array products.

    U.S. CITIZENSHIP STATUS IS REQUIRED AS THIS POSITION WILL NEED A U.S. SECURITY CLEARANCE WITHIN 1 YEAR OF START DATE.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Knowledge of basic electronics principles, theories, concepts, and troubleshooting methods shown through course work
    • Experience using common laboratory equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes, voltmeters, signal generators)
    • Experience working within a team shown through class projects, work experience, or extracurricular activities
    • Ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
    • U.S. Citizenship is required

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Detail oriented and organized
    • Self-motivated, inquisitive, and enthusiastic
    • Knowledge of programming languages (i.e., visual basic, C#)
    • Related work experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR):

    • Must have a BS / BA from an ABET accredited university with a major in Electrical Engineering, Science, Math or other related field by Summer 2018 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
