    As a defense contractor, there are specific programs requiring a certain level of security clearance and special access for assigned staff. The selected candidate will be required to secure these accesses. Not being able to secure the Interim Secret Security Clearance needed for this position may result in an offer of employment being rescinded.

    This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Join Raytheon Vision Systems, world leader in infrared and visible imaging systems, and take part in the development of the next generation of CMOS readout integrated circuits (ROIC) for our expanding imaging subassembly business. You will become an integral part of a team of IC designers who regularly push the performance edge in image sensor design, and you will work side-by-side with the most respected detector, packaging, and systems engineers in the business. This is a full time/part time job, located in Goleta California.

    Key skills required are the ability to design mixed-signal integrated circuit image sensor, including analog signal chain, digital timing and image processing, and low-power analog to digital converters.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Applicant needs to have a strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics, semiconductor processing, linear IC design, simulation, layout, and testing
    • Expertise with IC Design Flows, CAD tools, and statistical design
    • Comprehensive understanding of IC design flow, methodologies, simulations and layout of digital and analog circuits
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to define and adhere to project schedules is required
    • Must be a college Junior, Senior or Graduate student by Fall 2018
    • U.S. Citizenship is required

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Knowledge of high-end UNIX based software design tools for circuit simulation, transistor model extraction, noise analysis, linear design, layout and layout automation, and verification is helpful.
    • Experience with Cadence tools is a plus.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    • Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from a four-year university and entering as a college Junior or Senior year OR pursuing a MS / MA / PhD by Fall 2018. Must be working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or equivalent technical discipline. Must be appropriate grade level listed above.
