Business Communications and Operations Specialist needed for rapidly growing online platform for college application advice

• Effectively communicate with mentors on the platform in a timely manner.
• Effectively communicate potential new requests from customers with mentors on the platform in a timely manner.
• Triage and answer mentor queries in an efficient manner.
• Proactively review unread messages from mentors, triage, and respond appropriately.
• Identify and relay critical follow-ups/clarifications to appropriate team members.
• Build a positive working relationship with mentors and team members.
• Day-to-day operational tasks.
• Helping develop training materials and FAQ documents.

• Native fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, quickly learn on the job and work independently.
• Bachelor's Degree (4-year degree-program).
• Familiar with the US college application process.
• Previous operational/communications experience (preferable but not mandatory).
• Flexible work hours/workdays across weekdays and weekends.
• Strong MS Office Skills.

• Fully remote role, work from anywhere
• Up to 50 hours per week
• Up to 6-month contract
