      PSYCHOLOGY ADJUNCT FACULTY

    TALLAHASSEE COMMUNITY COLLEGE announces openings for the following adjunct faculty position in History and Social Sciences for the Spring 2020-21 academic semester.                

    MAJOR FUNCTION:  Adjunct faculty will provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with with opportunities for professional development.  Areas of instruction are listed below:  

    • General Education Psychology

     

    ADJUNCT FACULTY: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology or a related/applied subfield, or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours Psychology or a related/applied subfield. 

    In addition to the minimum qualifications listed for this position, all prospective adjunct faculty are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics: 

    1. Commitment to student retention and success
    2. Commitment to development and assessment of student learning
    3. Use of technology and innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning, including distance learning and alternative delivery systems
    4. Willingness to support a diverse population of learners inside and beyond the classroom
    5. Ability to work in a participatory and collegial setting.
