This FT position is the principle point of contact for advising students in the College of General Studies. Academic advisors provide holistic academic advising, share information about degree requirements, support student services in the college, and contribute to student success efforts. In general, advisors are responsible for assisting students with course selection, monitoring student performance, connecting them with appropriate academic support or enrichment opportunities, and maintaining advising records in accordance with university and legal regulations. Advisors also provide guidance on academic policies and procedures and connect students with relevant campus resources. Position may require that you work in London for two weeks in the summer.
Required Skills
Requires: B.A./B.S., 1-3 years of directly related experience. Master's degree preferred. A cover letter and resume are required for consideration.
