About the Digital Video Specialist position

We are looking for a talented overall video person to film, edit, and upload the video content for our social and ads. The video portion of our social is just beginning, and this person would help define and shape the direction we take. 

The ideal candidate is used to doing scrappy, low budget films/sketches and is ready to turn that 'jack-of-all-trade' filmmaking style into making engaging content for a startup. They also own their own camera and can edit in Premiere. Bonus points if you own mics and lights already. 

Because our video team is just beginning and covid is ongoing, this candidate will also have to do a good amount of blogging and/or social media work until video production becomes a full time job, so experience with either of those is a huge plus. 

Overall, this is a position that will start out with a fair bit of unrelated work, but a ton of opportunity. The trade off is that you'll be carving out the future of the position and making a ton of videos highlighting the work of independent makers and shop owners in LA!
