EF Academy Pasadena is seeking a temporary high school instructor to teach courses within the Academic and English Accelerator Program (AEAP). This is an on-campus teaching position serving a small cohort of high school English language learners. The initial contract runs from March 23 to May 22, 2026, with possible extensions through the summer. Instructors may teach up to three 8-week courses, with content areas including Math, Science, and the Arts. Courses are taught in small groups and emphasize both academic content mastery and English language development. This role is well suited for educators who enjoy working closely with multilingual high school students in a supportive, academically focused environment.
About the AEAP Program
The Academic and English Accelerator Program (AEAP) supports high school multilingual learners as they prepare for success in an English-medium academic setting. AEAP integrates core academic subjects with intentional language development, helping students build academic vocabulary, confidence, and study skills. Instruction emphasizes reading, writing, speaking, and listening through content-based learning in Math, Science, the Arts, and other disciplines. Small class sizes allow for differentiated instruction, targeted scaffolding, and frequent feedback. The program serves as a bridge into EF Academy’s full high school curriculum while maintaining high academic expectations and clear pathways to academic success.
