Shenandoah University’s School of Business invites applications for an adjunct faculty pool to teach graduate-level business courses in a fully online, asynchronous format. Areas of instruction may include:

    • Managerial and Financial Accounting
    • Microeconomics and Macroeconomics
    • Principles of Marketing
    • Principles of Finance
    • Business Statistics and Business Analytics

Courses typically are 1.5 or 3.0 graduate credit hours and are delivered online in accelerated sessions throughout the year.

    Required Skills

    Qualifications:

    • A terminal degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. A master’s degree with substantial professional experience may be considered. Because the School of Business maintains accreditation standards that emphasize faculty scholarship, preference will be given to candidates with peer-reviewed publications in their discipline. Applicants should include any peer-reviewed scholarship in their application materials.

Approved adjunct faculty may be required to complete online teaching training prior to assignment.

    How to Apply:

The complete application will include a cover letter indicating teaching areas, curriculum vitae, list of peer-reviewed publications (if applicable) and contact information for three professional references. Applications will be reviewed immediately and will continue on a rolling basis.

**Note: A pre-employment background check will be required, and a satisfactory driving record may be required as a condition of hire.
