  • Responsibilities

    The Administrative Coordinator is the first point of contact for the Health and Counseling Center (HCC). This role provides various administrative and technical support to the HCC team. This position reports to the Director of the Health and Counseling Center.

    The starting salary for this position is $20.50 - $22.50. Pay offers are contingent upon experience and are determined through an internal pay assessment. This is an overtime eligible position in Grade NE 4.

    What You'll Do

    • Act as the first point of contact welcoming individuals to the HCC in person, over the phone, and by electronic correspondence
    • Ensure that each student patient has complete and current informed consent, insurance, and documentation on file prior to the start of their triage, in-person or telehealth visit
    • Act as the primary point of assistance regarding scheduling student appointments at the HCC
    • Maintain confidentiality of information and records by following defined procedures for proper handling and disposition of each type of information
    • Responsible for maintaining general office upkeep including HCC lobby signage and frequent disinfection of high-touch surfaces in lobby and general areas
    • Supports the Operations Coordinator in setting and managing schedules for staff, department meetings, health promotions events, and other appointments as needed
    • Assist in special projects and other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative position
    • Proficiency navigating computer operating systems and using office productivity tools (e.g., word processing applications, spreadsheets, CRM databases, etc.)
