    Job Description

    The position leads a team in managing a variety of functions related to student finance and/or registrar services/academics. Supports and drives continuous improvement, change management and business process and service initiatives resulting in delivery of exceptional business results for all stakeholders. The role requires strong partnership and project management with Institutional Support Services (ISS) and institutional leaders to drive process and service improvement delivery.

    • Manages multiple functions for multiple institutions and internal business partners ensuring seamless, student-centric processes to deliver exceptional business performance results. Leadership of functions may include and are not limited to business process and service improvement, project management, and training support needs. All projects and functions performed in alignment with service quality and audit compliance objectives. Student finance and registrar services/academic business processes may be supported.
    • Leads team to identify opportunities to improve and standardize processes to improve service, achieve consistency, and reduce rework while maintaining high levels of quality, efficiency and driving down costs.
    • Manages multiple assignments with high quality according to plan, monitors, and reports progress to ensure that required work is delivered by all team members according to agreed SLA.
    • Leads initiatives both individually and via the team in support of ISS and institutional business partners. Identifies and executes quality assurance and training plans, supporting organizational success.
    • Ensures that team members work with the business to define processes, quality standards, and support needs to support colleague and process development.
    • Develops and maintains a solid knowledge of the various enterprise applications and business processes.
    • Measures and monitors work of individual contributors, providing feedback, coaching and recognition to support career growth and development, as well as supporting quality outcomes.
    • Leads successful initiatives by coordinating and gaining feedback from all key stakeholders while maintaining transparency to ensure that results are aligned with strategic institutional as well as Adtalem / departmental goals and objectives.
    • Supports new system and process implementations for the department by assisting / facilitating identification of impacts, training and UAT needed to support smooth rollout.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.
    • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree required.
    • Five (5) years’ experience required and four (4) years in change management, process improvement & implementation, etc. required.
    • Demonstrated management and leadership skills via direct management or equivalent experience required.
    • Demonstrated skills include facilitation, process mapping, policy creation, project management, leadership/management, and colleague development.
    • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision and direction.
    • Strong analytical skills required to identify trends and improvement processes.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to set priorities and deadlines to ensure projects are completed.

    Additional Information

    In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $68,637.22 and $124,230.14. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
