    Part-time Ready Hire Program Staffing Coordinator (1996) » Date: Jan 4, 2019 Location: Washington, DC, US, 20016 Company: American University Summary/Objective The Office of Human Resources is recruiting for a recruiter to support the AU Ready Hire staffing program. The AU Ready Hire program is an internal program that recruits and manages a candidate pipeline of administrative support professionals. The incumbent will work with AU Ready Hire candidates and University hiring managers to staff full-time, part-time, and temporary staff positions throughout the Universitys departments and academic units. Additionally, the Coordinator will conduct full cycle recruiting for candidates to join the AU Ready Hire candidate pipeline and support the recruitment of full time searches. The Coordinator is the first point of contact for promoting the AU Ready Hire program to the AU community. Providing great quality service to hiring managers and candidates is crucial to the success of this position. Example positions the incumbent will fill include: administrative assistants, program assistants, event coordinators, and assistants to executives. In its 7+ years of support to the AU community, the AU Ready Hire program has successfully filled over 500 positions and has worked with nearly all departments and units across the University. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 20-27.5-Nonexempt Salary Range $16.00-$18.00/hr Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in screening applications/resumes, working within Human Resources or recruiting, and/or related experience Able to conduct phone and in-person interviews and assess candidates for vacancies Facilitating skills testing and reference checks High level of attention to detail Strong customer service and relationship building skills Strong organizational and prioritization skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work with a high level of discretion and autonomy Preferred Education and Experience Experience managing a candidate pipeline and/or working within a staffing environment Bachelors Degree in related field Additional Eligibility Qualifications This position is part-time at 20-27.5 hours per week.
