    HOW WILL YOU BE CONTRIBUTING?

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Reporting to the Director of Search Marketing, the Media Specialist will bring experience in demand/inquiry generation. Your job will be to coordinate marketing campaigns and collateral, develop ad copy for advertising purposes, and maintain our ad performance database, alongside a team of seasoned marketers.

    The right candidate will be an exceptional project manager and understand how to test, drive, and document performance within paid media campaigns.

    • Manage and execute programmatic media programs, including display, native, video, and digital audio
    • Manage the PPL (pay per lead) program
    • Coordinate processes for advertising collateral and ad elements for digital channels, ensuring compliance within paid media ads and landing pages
    • Draft ad copy, assist in image selection, and manage creative processes for paid advertising channels, including close collaboration with brand and compliance
    • Collaborate with organic and paid social team to develop and work toward holistic goals and initiatives, including assistance with development of user-generated content
    • Maintain the ad database, paid media project roadmap, and testing programs
    • Collaborate with webmaster on landing page needs, imagery, copy, and CRO testing as it relates to digital advertising programs
    • Partner with team members across different marketing functions to drive paid media projects forward, through the use of Asana and other project management tools
    • Assist Brand and Content in developing paid media components of integrated campaign themes, content, personas, and strategies
    • Research and provide recommendations for expansion efforts into new ad formats and/or channels
    • Assist with reporting on paid media campaign performance
    • Present paid media plans, performance data, and project updates
    • Execute advanced project management skills and process development for paid media programs

    The required qualifications for this role are:

    • Strong project management skills, with experience in paid media or digital advertising
    • An ability to think critically by applying problem solving practices, be resourceful in terms of acquiring relevant information, use technology and other resources appropriately, and strategically evaluate alternatives and opportunity costs
    • An excellent and active listener, consistent, reflective, and self-aware
    • Able to focus on both the big picture as well as get into the nitty gritty of a project and platform performance
    • Excellent at time management, written and verbal communication, and organization
    • An independent worker, but knows when to get feedback or thoughts when running into issues
    • Thinks outside-of-the-box you are not afraid to fail or try new ideas that you have not tried before
    • 1+ years of programmatic, paid search, or social media paid ads experience (required)
    • 1+ years of project management (required)
    • A Bachelor's degree (required)
    • Experience with Google Analytics (preferred)
