    Digital Content Coordinator 45065BR Campus: Tempe Communications Prg Cdr Job Description The job posting is only open to current Arizona Board of Regents employees (Arizona State University, University of Arizona, or Northern Arizona University Under the supervision and guidance of a director, this position specializes in preparing multimedia content for assigned projects and audiences that is aligned with the university brand and customized to meet the needs of the audience. The selected candidate will be responsible for curating and preparing a collection of digital content that can then be distributed in a variety of channels including social media posts, emails, app notifications and website posts. Digital content will take multimedia forms including short video, social animations, and traditional posts. The digital content coordinator will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of what the audience is responding to by monitoring performance of their content and quickly making changes to optimize the performance as measured by engagement and ability to increase perceptions of quality and levels of affinity amount their target audience. Salary Range Depends on experience Close Date 31-August -2018 Category 02 Essential Duties - Plans, develops, and implements content for digital channels such as social media, apps, websites and email for the university to ensure consistency in message and support of goals and objectives. - Serves as copywriter, proofreader, and short video editor for content to be posted on digital channels. - Serves as a point of contact for assigned channels and responding to real-time conversations on social media and mobile platforms. - Collaborates with video producers and designers to develop content for digital channels. - May serve as a host or on-air personality for social video. - Tracks performance on a daily basis and seeks methods to optimize the performance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or closely related field and one year of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Desired Qualifications - Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing best practices (social, email, app messaging) - Demonstrated knowledge of social media management software. - Experience in applying creative and brand guidelines to work. - Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative software including video and design software. - Evidence of effective communication, both verbal and written. - Experience in serving as on-air talent. - Experience in working in an environment subject to quickly changing priorities and tight deadline. Working Environment - Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse (75%); required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work (10%) - Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds (15%) - Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts - Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions. - Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals. - Receives regular review of completed tasks for achievement of established objectives. - Nature of events occasionally includes working evenings, weekends and holidays.
